Andrew is a passionate communications and leadership expert. He brings 20 years of experience leading teams, coaching and supporting leaders, and building and leading workshops and courses in a variety of industries globally — all focused on effective communications and thriving, inclusive cultures. Andrew was the global head of employee communications at Facebook for many years, and has also delivered results through coaching and consulting with companies like The New York Times, Google, Salesforce, Canva, Airbnb, The Hewlett Foundation and Stanford Hospital. He’s the author of the book, Honestly Speaking: How the Way We Communicate Transforms Leadership, Love, and Life (2019).
Andrew started his career in politics, working in the White House Office of Presidential Speechwriting and as a Communications Director in both the US Senate and the House of Representatives, and later, building and leading the first-ever program focused on the courts and the law at the Center for American Progress. He’s passionate about helping people — no matter their title or job function — communicate and connect in authentic, meaningful ways, and is known for his clear, direct, and down-to-earth style. Andrew is also a longtime yoga teacher and student, and strives to infuse approaches to mindfulness into his work in an accessible way.
