Summer 2026 | Hybrid

  • Location: Hybrid, with the option to work from our New York City office (Remote (U.S.-based) may be considered)
  • Hours: Up to 40 hours/week
  • Pay: $22/hour
  • Dates: Start June 1 – End August 28, 2026

About the Role:

Step into the future of work as an Integral Client Management Intern in summer 2026, where you’ll help shape solutions that make a meaningful difference for some of the biggest names in tech, health care, fashion, finance, and more.

Working alongside our client strategy and account teams, you’ll support the creation of bespoke employee engagement, digital workplace, and organizational culture strategies and solutions. From research and content development to project coordination and business development support, you’ll contribute to real client work that drives measurable impact.

This role is ideal for a curious, strategic, and ambitious student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience inside a high-performing agency—and is eager to take ownership, think critically, and help move complex work forward.

As an intern you will…

Do: Client Work

  • Support the development of strong client relationships by coming prepared, following through, and helping deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Keep projects organized by preparing agendas, tracking timelines, and capturing key takeaways so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Contribute to client deliverables, from research and content to experience concepts and strategy materials, that directly support client goals.
  • Learn about each client’s business, brand, and challenges and help turn research, interviews, and insights into clear recommendations.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table and help identify opportunities to strengthen client work.

Sell: Business Development

  • Support pitch development and client communications that help win new business.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, including the Employee Activation Index, newsletter, blog, and LinkedIn, to strengthen Integral’s voice in the market.
  • Research prospective clients and build clear, useful background summaries to inform outreach.
  • Assist in creating proposals, scopes of work, and presentations that clearly communicate our approach and value.

Grow: Integral’s Culture & Operations

  • Help coordinate team meetings and events to keep communication strong and operations running smoothly.
  • Participate actively in team rituals and contribute positively to our culture.
  • Complete a capstone project focused on solving a real need at Integral and present practical recommendations to the team.

Who We’re Looking For:

You. And bring your full self. At Integral, authenticity and gratitude guide us. We value meaningful, equitable, and genuine interactions, so come as you are.

This role is best suited for someone who wants real responsibility and is ready to contribute, not just observe.

  • You care about improving how employees experience work and are curious about culture, communication, and organizational change.
  • You are organized and reliable. You break big projects into clear next steps and follow through without being chased.
  • You are proactive. You ask questions, seek clarity, and are comfortable stepping into new or unfamiliar work.
  • You are a strong writer and communicator who can adjust your tone depending on the audience.
  • You think strategically and enjoy solving complex problems in a practical way.
  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • You listen carefully, pay attention to detail, and look for patterns or opportunities others might miss.
  • You are excited by both research and creative thinking and enjoy bringing the two together.
  • You show maturity and good judgment when working with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • You are eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Experience and skills:

  • You are a recent college or graduate school graduate, or a rising senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • You are a strong writer and communicator and can create content in a range of formats and tones.
  • You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
  • You are comfortable analyzing research, interviews, or data and turning what you learn into clear, structured recommendations.
  • Prior internship experience in an agency, startup, or client-facing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Asana, Trello, or Slack is a plus.
  • You are eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

  • Doing excellent, thoughtful work for our clients
  • Creating a meaningful, equitable experience for our own team
  • Building a company that’s worth owning—financially and emotionally—for the people who work here

We’re proudly remote-friendly, anchored by a warm, decidedly un-corporate office in Manhattan that doubles as a creative space and client magnet.
