We’re celebrating! Taylor Shawver has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Co-Founder of Integral. She previously held the role of Vice President, Strategy and Culture.

Taylor joined Integral in 2018, just a few weeks after Ethan McCarty founded the agency. She and Ethan built Integral from the ground up, growing the firm to include clients ranging from non-profits to medium-sized businesses to some of the world’s largest companies.

Taylor’s Integral impact

“I’ve always considered Taylor critical to the launch of Integral. Her impact on our impact on our business and culture is profound. I wanted to formalize it by naming her SVP and Co-Founder,” said Ethan. “She has helped countless clients improve business outcomes by transforming their employee communications and experience. Her commitment to the service of others is boundless, and this recognition is well-deserved.”

Over the years, Taylor has worked with more than 20 Integral clients across industries ranging from beauty, fashion, finance, technology, nonprofit, management consulting and healthcare. In 2022, both Ragan Top Women in Communications Rising Star and PRNEWS Top Women Awards Rising Star recognized Taylor’s magic combination of strategy, clarity, and action.

“Integral holds a special place in my heart.” said Taylor. “Building an agency with people and clients who care deeply about the work that we do makes every day meaningful. Together we make an impact on the lives of thousands of employees. Nothing brings me more joy than to help a client achieve their vision. And, as a result, make those who work hard – day in and day out – feel seen, heard, and a part of something bigger than themselves.”

Taylor’s community impact

Additionally, Taylor is a member of the Page Society’s Future Leaders program. The Page Society prepares high-potential communications executives like Taylor for the roles of chief communications officer or agency CEO. On top of all this, Taylor attends the Syracuse University School of Law. Her participation in their Trial Team activities has garnered compliments from judges in the profession. Post-graduation, she plans to combine her experience as a communicator with her knowledge of the law.

A graduate of the College of Charleston, Taylor was a member of the inaugural class of the Martin Scholars. Now, she serves on the college’s Department of Communications National Advisory Council and is active in their mentor program.
